1. Purpose
- This Policy applies to all online practices, e-commerce platforms, and digital retailers authorised to stock or sell Dermal Health Science™ products, including DermExcel™ and Dermaplan™ (collectively, the “Products”).
- This Policy is designed to protect brand integrity, professional positioning, patient safety, and consumer trust, and to ensure consistent, compliant use of Dermal Health Science brands across all online channels.
2. Authorisation scope
Only practices expressly approved in writing by Dermal Health Science™ may list, market, or sell the Products online.
Medical oversight requirement. All authorised practices must have an identified, appropriately qualified medical practitioner formally attached to the practice. This requirement exists due to the active nature of certain ingredients within the Products and the need for appropriate clinical oversight.
The medical practitioner must:
- be registered with the relevant professional regulatory body;
- provide verifiable registration details upon request; and
- maintain an active clinical relationship with the practice.
Failure to maintain valid medical oversight may result in suspension or withdrawal of authorisation.
Authorisation is conditional and may be withdrawn at Dermal Health Science™’s discretion if this Policy or any related brand governance requirements are breached.
3. Brand use and presentation
The Products may only be presented using approved product names, descriptions, imagery, and clinical positioning supplied or approved by Dermal Health Science™.
Online practices may not use the Dermal Health Science brand, trademarks, or product names in a manner that:
- creates urgency, inducement, or incentive to purchase; or
- risks consumer confusion regarding authenticity, professional endorsement, or value.
4. Promotions, campaigns and marketing activity
Prior written approval required. Any consumer-facing activity involving the Products requires prior written approval from Dermal Health Science™. This includes, without limitation:
- discounts or price reductions;
- limited-time offers;
- bundles, gifts, or added-value incentives;
- flash sales or sitewide promotions that include the Products;
- urgency-based messaging (e.g., “today only”, “save now”, countdown timers);
- traffic-driving banners, emails, paid media, or call-to-action messaging.
Approval must be obtained before any such activity goes live. Silence or non-response does not constitute approval.
Dermal Health Science™ reserves the sole discretion to approve, reject, amend, or withdraw approval for any proposed activity.
5. Promotional framework
Dermal Health Science™ operates planned promotional initiatives from time to time, which may be extended to authorised practices at its sole discretion.
All promotional initiatives are governed by defined terms and conditions, approved creative, and specific participation parameters as issued by Dermal Health Science™.
Participation in any Dermal Health Science™ promotional initiative is a privilege and not a right, and may be withdrawn at any time.
Outside of these approved initiatives, authorised practices may not engage in any consumer-facing activity that presents, positions, or references Dermal Health Science™, DermExcel™, or Dermaplan™ in a manner that creates an incentive, urgency, inducement, or call to action, including but not limited to limited-time messaging, implied savings, bundles, gifts, or traffic-driving activity.
6. Stock holding and fulfilment
Dermal Health Science™ does not support or permit drop-shipping, order-on-demand fulfilment, or listing of Products without physical stock ownership.
All authorised online practices must purchase and hold physical stock of the Products prior to listing, marketing, or selling them online.
Online practices may only advertise Products that are in stock and available for immediate fulfilment from their own premises or warehouse.
Practices operating an online channel must disclose their stock-holding model during onboarding and may be required to provide proof of stock ownership upon request.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in suspension or withdrawal of authorisation.
7. Monitoring and compliance
Dermal Health Science may monitor online platforms for compliance with this Policy.
Authorised practices must promptly address any non-compliance when notified.
8. Breach and consequences
Any breach of this Policy may result in one or more of the following, at Dermal Health Science™’s discretion:
- written warning;
- immediate removal of unauthorised content;
- suspension of supply;
- withdrawal of authorised reseller status.
Dermal Health Science is not obliged to provide prior warning where breaches pose reputational, professional, or consumer risk.
9. Removal upon suspension or termination
Upon suspension or termination of authorisation, the practice must immediately:
- cease ordering the Products; and
- remove all Product listings, marketing content, and brand references from its platform in their entirety.
10. Acknowledgement
By registering as, or continuing to act as, an authorised online practice, the practice confirms that it has read, understood, and agrees to comply with this Policy in full.
